Innocent Niyongabo expresses hope for Burundi and is working for it!

In Africa, case of rural Burundi kids suffer consequences of the family and community poverty.

Going to poor schools causes the kids to have poor education. Lack of school materials, going to school with hunger, walking many kilometers away to school, lack of proper clothes... lead to school dropout etc.

In the end, all those problems negatively affect culture, politics, religion,Health and history...

By the way, Literacy is a bridge from misery to hope. It is a tool for daily life in modern society. It is a bulwark against poverty, and a building block of development, an essential complement to investments in roads, dams, clinics and factories.

Literacy is a platform for democratization, and a vehicle for the promotion of cultural and national identity. Especially for girls and women, it is an agent of family health and nutrition. For everyone, everywhere, literacy is, along with education in general, a basic human right....

Literacy is, finally, the road to human progress and the means through which every man, woman and child can realize his or her full potential."

Author: Kofi Annan

Thus, education is the most important tool we can use to eradicate poverty in Burundi.

Burundi's poverty lies outside the physical realm. The leaders of Burundi who will fail in building minds and hearts, will not succeed in building bodies. Help that will come to build the bodies will destroy relationships. Burundi needs good education not only of facts but of values...

Good education will positively affect culture, belief system, economy, politics, health...

As stated by UNECO, Primary school dropout rates (% of primary school cohort)

52,50 (% of primary school cohort)

in 2014

The research identified a need for a holistic intervention that would target the

systemic inefficiencies. An effective program would aim at improving student

engagement for schooling and learning through relationship building, problem

solving, and persistence.

The importance of mentors should not be underestimated. The best performing

schools, and the most satisfied students, were found in schools characterized by

strong, efficient leadership.

Headmasters/headmistress personal involvement is  at present the only efficient systemic response to high drop-out rates and declining quality of instruction. The school faculty and staff are small in

numbers, drastically underpaid and lacking prospects for career development

(complete disregard for professional training.

That's why we have chosen to fight poverty through educating youth in different domains.

We develop leaders who will make a difference in their generations, trainings, club planting will help young burundians develop their skills in english (the world pontential), we also encourage them to keep studying as well as creating small jobs that will lead them to great entrepreneurs in the world. It is possible possible to be counted among the richest countries of the planet

Tomorrow is a bright day. Let's join together and create hope for Burundi!
