About Jesus and the Father. About who we are!

Dear brothers and sisters,

The Scripture does not say: "NO ONE SHALL REACH THE FATHER UNLESS HE PASSES THROUGH JESUS CHRIST.''

The Scripture says: "Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." John 14:6

The text doesn't say "passes through Jesus." LOOK: Jesus didn't say "no one goes to the Father"! He said "NO ONE COMES TO THE FATHER, except through me"  Jesus did not mean to go to the Father, but to COME to the Father.

Why? JESUS AND THE FATHER ARE ONE!

Let us look at this very attentively. Even the disciples did not understand when Jesus said those words.

Understanding this is of the most importance! Who does not understand these words DO NOT KNOW JESUS INDEED. Jesus said that plainly.

“If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.”

Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us.”

(My God Father, how difficult is for people to understand what you are saying. Reveal it to each of my brothers and sisters. They are stuck with heaven, rewards, they think you do not rule now the universe, the earth, everything and everyone!")

Jesus answered: “Don’t you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time?

Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me?

The words I say to you I do not speak on my own authority. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work.

Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the works themselves.

Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.

(Children of God don't do today the works like Jesus even greater works than Him because they don't accept the ONENESS of GOD and the ONENESS of God with us. They think God is in heaven, Jesus is in heaven and we are on our own. Even worst, they think that the Holy Spirit is with us, but they don't get it the ONENESS of the Father, The Son and the Holy Spirit. They follow a humane logic and they don't get the heavenly revelation that GOD IS ONE!")

And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.” John 14:7-14 NIV

One again, Dr Taylor brings a thought on leadership and some of you brings "religious Christian stuff." I am not rebuking anyone for doing so! I am glad you did! But unless you get intimate with Jesus and do not repeat what you have learnt without checking out for yourselves what the Holy Spirit really says you will get stuck with religious concepts for the rest of your lives that are not God's Word.

Jesus promises and gives eternal life. GOD is eternal life. Before the world was created there was no heaven, no Earth, nothing. God did not have a place to be. HE WAS! He is! He will be forever!

In the beginning there was GOD! And God became flesh! John chapter 1 tells us how. It is not the Son who became Flesh, it is not a second person of the Trinity (I am using a word that is not even biblical) who became human. It is GOD, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit who became flesh!

God reveals Himself as the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, but don't look to the Father to see God in His fulness though the Father is God in fulness, or don't even look to the Holy Spirit to see God in His fulness though the Holy Spirit is God fully. Look at Jesus!

“My goal is that they may be encouraged in heart and  united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, and in Christ you have been brought to fullness. He is the head over every power and authority.” Colossians 2:2-3, 9-10

And don't think in terms of rewards, of something He will give us. We have Him. Jesus is our greatest and full reward.

And don't think in a place to be living in eternity. Look! We are God's Body! We are God's Temple! We are God's Building! We are God's House. And I could go on, but for your sake I will conclude with this.

We will be like God is! We already are! “Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.” 1 John 4:17.

Understand you alone are not God's body, temple, building, house. You alone are not as He is. We are! We are ONE!

I understand that the whole teaching of Jesus is to be seen as a whole and not in parts. Yes, we see in parts, as it is taught to us, step by step, word by word, but it is like a dragnet that is Bringing Everything in one only harvest.

When Jesus talks about the Father He is revealing the Father. When He talks about the Holy Spirit He is revealing the Holy Spirit. And when He reveals Himself saying I AM... I AM... The Father, the Holy Spirit is revealing Jesus. See them as ONE as God is ONE and you will not miss any revelation.

"For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.” 1 Corinthians 13:12

The time has come to shift from knowing who you are in Christ to know who Christ is in you.

Then shall I know even as also I am known. How can this be? Surprise!

REAL (36) - WHERE JESUS DID PREPARE A PLACE FOR US?

I know what you have written is the traditional interpretation that for years and years we have heard and repeated.

“`Let not your heart be troubled, believe in God, also in me believe; in the house of my Father are many mansions; and if not, I would have told you; I go on to prepare a place for you; and if I go on and prepare for you a place, again do I come, and will receive you unto myself, that where I am ye also may be; and whither I go away ye have known, and the way ye have known.'” John 14:1-4

Where Jesus was really going to?
Read chapter 13 of John!

The chapter starts telling where Jesus was going to:
"Jesus knew that the Father had put all things under
his power, and that he had come from God and was returning to God." John 13:3

“Simon Peter asked him, “Lord, where are you going?” Jesus replied, “Where I am going, you cannot follow now, but you will follow later.” Peter asked, “Lord, why can’t I follow you now? I will lay down my life for you.” Then Jesus answered, “Will you really lay down your life for me? Very truly I tell you, before the rooster crows, you will disown me three times!”
John 13:36-38 NIV

Jesus asked: Will you really lay down your life for me?

Where Jesus was going to? It is not heaven. Read all chapter 13 & 14 and all the rest of the Gospel of John if Jesus was feeling he was going to Heaven! Please read and find if the word heaven appear in the "sacred" text!

And the main question is this: IF Jesus is still "preparing a place for us in heaven which is not true" His work on the cross was not sufficient for all salvation which is also not true! IT IS FINISHED

“When he had received the drink, Jesus said, “It is finished.” With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.”
John 19:30 NIV

It is finished means he has done everything, it is done, it is completed! There is nothing HE or anybody else needs to DO, any actions, nothing to receive eternal life!

Jesus never promised heaven neither the Father! He promised eternal life IN HIS KINGDOM! In NEW HEAVENS AND EARTH!
Where did Jesus go to prepare a place for us? Who are the mansions (dwellings)!of God's House?

A sincere student send me this: "But even me personaly i am somehow confused.
If Jesus says:"in my father's house there are many mansions" if you say that he did not promise heaven, what is then what he called his father's house?

Who are the mansions of God's House?
Where in the bible says that Heaven is God's house!

Jesus say in John 13 & 14 he was going to the cross and to the Father!

Read it carefully! In John 13 Jesus was taking about his death!

““I am not referring to all of you; I know those I have chosen. But this is to fulfill this passage of Scripture: ‘He who shared my bread has turned against me.’

After he had said this, Jesus was troubled in spirit and testified, “Very truly I tell you, one of you is going to betray me.”

When he was gone, Jesus said, “Now the Son of Man is glorified and God is glorified in him.

“My children, I will be with you only a little longer. You will look for me, and just as I told the Jews, so I tell you now: Where I am going, you cannot come.

Simon Peter asked him, “Lord, where are you going?” Jesus replied, “Where I am going, you cannot follow now, but you will follow later.” Peter asked, “Lord, why can’t I follow you now? I will lay down my life for you.” Then Jesus answered, “Will you really lay down your life for me? Very truly I tell you, before the rooster crows, you will disown me three times!” John 13:18, 21, 31, 33, 36-38 NIV

Jesus said; Where I am going, you cannot come. Why? Jesus was going to the cross!
And to the cross Peter could not go. Actually Jesus said he was going to disown him three times.

Then Jesus said:

“My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?”
John 14:2

Who is the Father's house? There is not one verse in the Bible that says that the heaven is God's House.

Salomon said: “Then Solomon said, “The Lord has said that he would dwell in a dark cloud; I have built a magnificent temple for you, a place for you to dwell forever.””
2 Chronicles 6:1-2 NIV

Really? Is this right? Salomon answers:
“But will God really dwell on earth with humans? The heavens, even the highest heavens, cannot contain you. How much less this temple I have built!”
2 Chronicles 6:18 NIV

“if I am delayed, you will know how people ought to conduct themselves in God’s house, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and foundation of the truth.”
1 Timothy 3:15 NIV

The church is the house of God!

“My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?”
John 14:2 NIV

Where God will be forever? Where He will dwell?

“the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.”
John 14:17 NIV

“Jesus replied, “Anyone who loves kme will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.” John 14:23 NIV

“And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.” John 14:3 NIV

We know where He was going because told Peter he was going to the cross,  he was going to die.

He came back to the disciples when he was raised from the dead, he was resurrected and he said to them before ascending to heaven.

“ And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”” Matthew 28:20 NIV

Where does Jesus is? In heaven or in you? Where the Father is? Where the Holy Spirit is? In you know! You are a room of God's house. You are already prepared to live in Him and He in you?

“You know the way to the place where I am going.” Thomas said to him, “Lord, we don’t know where you are going, so how can we know the way?” Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.”” John 14:4-7

When there was no heavens where did God always live in eternity? Does God need the heavens? He did not wanted live in heaven forever! We are His body! We are all Him! ONE! Like Jesus and the Father is ONE, we are ONE in HIM!

““He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!” Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.” He said to me: “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give water without cost from the spring of the water of life.

One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues came and said to me, “Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.” And he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and showed me the Holy City, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God.

I did not see a temple in the city, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple.”
Revelation 21:5-6, 9-10, 22 NIV

Who is the temple of God? We are not God's temples. Your body is a temple of God. Pay attention to the detail: we are not call temples of God, WE ARE GOD's TEMPLE without the letter "s" at the end.

“For we are co-workers in God’s service; you are God’s field, God’s building. By the grace God has given me, I laid a foundation as a wise builder, and someone else is building on it. But each one should build with care.

Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst?”
1 Corinthians 3:9-10, 16

Jesus was going to the the Father, to meet the Father at the cross!

“that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation.

God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.” 2 Corinthians 5:19, 21 NIV

“The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.

And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy.

and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.”
Colossians 1:15, 18, 20 NIV

Who shed the blood on cross? God did!

“Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the church of GOD WHICH HE BOUGHT WITH HIS BLOOD.” Acts 20:28

What do you want! To die and live forever in heaven (which Jesus never promised) or to be a room in the House of the Lord and live with Him forever in His body as he was before the foundation of the world?

Now you have a lot to pray about and I am going to slow down, cause I don't want to blow your minds!

Cheer up! Worship Jesus! Give glory to HIM!

RN - Thank Dr. Salum for details about the heaven!  But yr explanation brought new questions in my mind! What about life after death? If we are God's temple, when we die what happens? Does the temple be destroyed? Another question are we living the here and now? Do we have to wait the something else not a heaven? Thank you! God bless you for the courage to help us. 🙏🙏🏿 🙏🙏🏿🙏🙏🏿

========

I know our tendency is keep Learning of what we call spiritual things 😁😳😁, but we need to give some principles of business for the group as we proposed since the beginning.

I will just say this! And you, please, keep thinking and praying and studying the Scriptures and investigating!!! But most of all ask the Holy Spirit to reveal Himself to you!

All things that exist in the first creation will be destroyed even the heavens "where God is now" will be destroyed by fire!

The creation as we see it today will cease to exist!

“But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare. Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming. That day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the heat. But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells.”
2 Peter 3:10-13

How can you want to live forever in a heaven that will DISAPPEAR? 😀😀 All heavens will disappear, so according to Scriptures all three heavens will cease to exist!

“Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,” for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea.”
Revelation 21:1 NIV

“And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God.”
Revelation 21:3 NIV

“The seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, which said: “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Messiah, and he will reign for ever and ever.””
Revelation 11:15 NIV

I laugh at all these theologians because they want to explain things through common knowledge! That only God must reveal. I don't consider myself a theologian, but the most we can do is answer your questions! 🤓🤓🤓

How can I explain if I am not revealed by the Holy Spirit? How can you understand if the Holy Spirit does not reveal to you?

“We do, however, speak a message of wisdom among the mature, but not the wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing. No, we declare God’s wisdom, a mystery that has been hidden and that God destined for our glory before time began. None of the rulers of this age understood it, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. However, as it is written: “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived” — the things God has prepared for those who love him— these are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.”
1 Corinthians 2:6-10 NIV

REAL (28): TREASURE AND WEALTH IN HEAVEN JSalum & PTaylor

TREASURE AND WEALTH IN HEAVEN
JSalum & PTaylor

We need to understand that the Scriptures are not to be understood intellectually.

When we read a Bible verse and interpret with our natural mind we miss the message that the Lord wants to communicate with us.

When you read a verse and immediately say: Wow! I got it! You probably did not!

Talking about keeping our wealth in heaven what is this wealth? If silver and gold do not enter into heaven what is the treasure we must store in heaven?

Do we need wealth to solve our communities problems? If treasures are to be stored in heaven why Abraham, David and Solomon were so rich?

Can a wealthy man store a treasure in heaven?

Let me express something very practical! The language we use like "heavenly book", be known in the heavenly book, and all similar expressions are from our religious background! Nothing is more pleasant to God than His children! How to I know that? He loves us and gave His Son Jesus to bring many children into His Glory!

Yes wealth is not sin! Actually for those who are in Christ the power of sin is already destroyed! It does not mean we don't sin anymore, it means we are all forgiven for everything from the past and future!

When Jesus talks about treasure in Heaven He talks about us. We are His treasure! We are His possession!

What Jesus is teaching us is that we spend earthly treasures whatever it is, big or small, in doing righteousness!

We seek His Kingdom and His righteousness when we express His Kingdom and righteousness being who we are (His Kings and priests) performing acts of righteousness.

It is just like when Jesus said, "No man can serve two masters, either he will love the one and hate the other or he will hate one and love the other. You cannot love God and mammon."

Many people interpret mammon as being money. Mammon is not money, but the world system that holds many captive and opposes the Kingdom of God!

Who is your source of provision?  Jesus is not teaching that you should not work.  He is teaching that everything is God's and we Must use what is provided to support our families and the needs that He speaks to us to provide for.

Remember,  Jesus said, "The poor you will have with you always."  He said this when the woman broke the alabaster jar and anointed him. The Judas complained that the money could have been given to the poor. Not then!  My point being that money is to be used by each of us as God directs. It is the LOVE of money that controls people and becomes mammon that opposes the Kingdom of God.

Thank God we have men and woman using financial gain to advance the kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven. God takes what we give and multiplies it for his purpose.

Let us all work and use what God provides for our lives and for those in need. When we do this we reflect the love of God and His Kingdom.

REAL (21):Salvation is not just a ticket to heaven

Dr. Paul Taylor

Salvation is not JUST a ticket to heaven. Heaven has been emphasized by the church and the western gospel. Our focus should be on Christ and the purpose we were created for the earth until Jesus comes fully or we die and are united fully with Him.

Please read Genesis 3:14-24

““You will not certainly die,” the serpent said to the woman. “For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”

When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it.

Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves.

Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the Lord God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid from the Lord God among the trees of the garden. But the Lord God called to the man, “Where are you?”

He answered, “I heard you in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid.” And he said, “Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree that I commanded you not to eat from?”

The man said, “The woman you put here with me—she gave me some fruit from the tree, and I ate it.”

Then the Lord God said to the woman, “What is this you have done?” The woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.”

So the Lord God said to the serpent, “Because you have done this, “Cursed are you above all livestock and all wild animals! You will crawl on your belly and you will eat dust all the days of your life. And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel.”

To the woman he said, “I will make your pains in childbearing very severe; with painful labor you will give birth to children. Your desire will be for your husband, and he will rule over you.”

To Adam he said, “Because you listened to your wife and ate fruit from the tree about which I commanded you, ‘You must not eat from it,’ “Cursed is the ground because of you; through painful toil you will eat food from it all the days of your life. It will produce thorns and thistles for you, and you will eat the plants of the field. By the sweat of your brow you will eat your food until you return to the ground, since from it you were taken; for dust you are and to dust you will return.”

Adam named his wife Eve, because she would become the mother of all the living. The Lord God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife and clothed them. And the Lord God said, “The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever.”

So the Lord God banished him from the Garden of Eden to work the ground from which he had been taken.

After he drove the man out, he placed on the east side of the Garden of Eden cherubim and a flaming sword flashing back and forth to guard the way to the tree of life.”  Genesis 3:4-24 NIV

The serpent was directly cursed. Woman would have pain in child birth and the dynamics of her relationship with her husband would change. Man would struggle because of the curse on the earth. Finally they were both cast out of the garden and separated from God.

Though not directly cursed they surely suffered and we suffer for their disobedience.

Jesus when he shed His blood, He died on the cross, He broke the curse. He restored our image through Jesus Christ and gave us great hope of eternal life!
