A TRUE FRIEND. By Reveriano Bukuru

A TRUE FRIEND

Reveriano Bukuru

A true friend gives you his most authentic self.

When he is real with you, you receive something precious: his life, his experiences, his time, his resources, even his money.

A good friend can be trusted with your heart. You do not need to fear that he will misuse your confidence, for the Bible says:

“One who has unreliable friends soon comes to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.” (Proverbs 18:24)

A true friend will use his knowledge of you wisely. He will not drag you into gossip, for the Scripture declares:

“A perverse person stirs up conflict, and a gossip separates close friends.” (Proverbs 16:28)

Instead, he will use what he knows of you for your good, never for your harm. He will engage with you to bring peace, not conflict, and to strengthen, not weaken.

A true friend will not flatter you with empty words but will tell you what you need to hear, even when it is hard. As the Bible says:

“Oil and perfume make the heart glad, and the sweetness of a friend comes from his earnest counsel.” (Proverbs 27:9)

Truth can be heavy, stressful, and sometimes frightening to speak. Yet a true friend will step into difficulty for your sake, choosing the harder path because he seeks your progress and growth.

A real friend does not stand by while you harm yourself. He will intervene, doing what he can to stop you from making destructive choices.

In short, your life matters to him. He makes your well-being part of his own journey, because Scripture urges us:

“Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins. Show hospitality to one another without grumbling. As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace.” (1 Peter 4:8–10)

May true friends be blessed in the name of Jesus Christ, the King of Kings. Amen.

GINGER AND CONCENTRATED PINEAPPLE JUICE: NATURAL ALLIES FOR HEALTH by Josimar Salum

Natural remedies have been used for centuries to strengthen the body, prevent illness, and support healing. Among the most popular are ginger (gengibre) and pineapple juice. When combined, they create a powerful natural drink that supports digestion, boosts immunity, and reduces inflammation.

Ginger (Gengibre): A Root with Ancient Power

Ginger has been used for thousands of years in Asian, African, and Middle Eastern medicine. It contains compounds called gingerols and shogaols, which give it strong anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.

Main Benefits of Ginger:

Digestive health: relieves nausea, bloating, and indigestion.

Anti-inflammatory: reduces pain from arthritis and joint stiffness.

Immune support: helps fight colds, flu, and infections.

Circulation & metabolism: stimulates blood flow and may help regulate sugar and cholesterol.

Respiratory aid: soothes sore throats and coughs.

Pineapple Juice: Sweet and Healing

Pineapple is more than a tropical fruit — it’s packed with vitamin C, manganese, and bromelain, an enzyme that supports digestion and reduces inflammation. Concentrated pineapple juice contains the same nutrients in higher amounts, though it should be consumed in moderation due to its sugar content.

Main Benefits of Pineapple Juice:

Immune booster: rich in vitamin C and antioxidants.

Digestive support: bromelain breaks down proteins and improves gut health.

Anti-inflammatory: reduces swelling, sinusitis, and post-surgery inflammation.

Bone & tissue health: manganese strengthens bones and connective tissues.

Energy & hydration: natural sugars provide quick energy

Ginger + Pineapple: A Powerful Combination

When ginger and pineapple juice are combined, their benefits multiply. This natural duo is known for:

1. Fighting Inflammation

Ideal for arthritis, muscle pain, and recovery after physical activity.

2. Supporting Digestion

Relieves bloating, indigestion, and discomfort after heavy meals.

3. Boosting Immunity

Vitamin C from pineapple and antibacterial properties of ginger protect against colds and flu.

4. Refreshing Detox

Stimulates metabolism, circulation, and helps the body eliminate toxins.

Precautions

Ginger: can thin the blood — use caution if taking anticoagulant medication.

Pineapple juice: concentrated forms are high in natural sugar — diabetics or those watching sugar intake should consume carefully.

Conclusion

Ginger and concentrated pineapple juice are more than just flavorful ingredients — they are natural allies for health. Together, they strengthen the immune system, reduce inflammation, support digestion, and energize the body. Whether enjoyed as a warm tea, a refreshing juice, or a smoothie, this combination is a simple and effective way to promote overall well-being.
